“Back in the early eighties, I brought Hai to Destin to work for our restaurant, Beachside Cafe. That was one of the best moves I ever made! He continued to work for me at the Ocean Club until a few months ago. For over 40 years, Hai and his brother Junior worked as chefs running our kitchen. I’ve never experienced a work ethic like that; Hai and Junior became family to me. I had the privilege of being around the most talented and loyal individuals that I’ll ever know.
